Shipwrecks and Submerged Worlds: Maritime Archaeology

The Centre for Maritime Archaeology at the University of Southampton is hosting a free 4-week MOOC course on maritime archaeology Shipwrecks and Submerged Worlds: Maritime Archaeology. The course goes live on October 6. Learn how maritime archaeology investigates our changing relationship with the world’s oceans and seas, from 2.5 million years ago until today. One of the featured activities is an ethics discussion between students and maritime archaeologists from institutions around the world.  The discussion will be live streamed on Google+ and YouTube on October 30 from 19:00-20:00 GMT.
